The Pro League in ESG Football 25 offers a competitive platform where players engage in realistic 7v7 and 11v11 football matches. With no AI players, every game is a true test of skill and teamwork.
Offense (7 Players)

Quarterback (QB) – The leader of the offense, responsible for passing and play-calling.

Running Back (RB) – Primary ball carrier; may also catch passes.

Wide Receiver 1 (WR1) – Top receiving target.

Wide Receiver 2 (WR2) – Secondary receiving target.

Wide Receiver 3 (WR3) – Slot receiver or additional deep threat.

Tight End (TE) or Extra WR – A versatile player who can block or receive.

Center (C) – Snaps the ball but does not block (due to no linemen in 7v7).
Defense (7 Players)

Cornerback 1 (CB1) – Covers the top receiver.

Cornerback 2 (CB2) – Covers the secondary receiver.

Nickel Cornerback (NC) – Covers slot receivers.

Free Safety (FS) – Provides deep pass coverage.

Strong Safety (SS) – Supports in both pass and run defense.

Linebacker 1 (LB1) – Covers short routes and supports in stopping the run.
